TENTATIVE CONCEPT/PROGRAM
For Cebu to soar, it is imperative that Cebu’s total wellness be considered….When people are well, so will the community be.
OBJECTIVE:
To broaden the public’s understanding of wellness in order to provide a holistic foundation for Cebu’s growth….so it can fly to wherever it wants to soar with the support of a healthy human infrastructure.
Rationale:
Wellness is defined as a …
- multidimensional state of being describing the existence of positive health in an individual as exemplified by quality of life and a sense of well-being.
- an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a more successful existence.
- Process means that improvement is always possible
- Aware means that we are continuously seeking more information about how we can improve.
- Choices means that we consider a variety of options and select those in our best interest.
