The Business Development & Management Services Division (BDMSD) is tasked with the realization of business improvement, not only for CCCI members but also for non-member clients. The BDMSD is chiefly mandated to support CCCI’s operational sustainability. This is done through its various projects such as Fairs & Exhibits; Trainings, Seminars and Fora; Trade Missions; Institutional Development; Business Support Services; and a host of other special projects.
SERVICES:Trade & Investment Promotion (Exhibits) – BDMSD provides support for potential investors seeking to invest and showcase their products in Cebu particularly in Trade Fairs and Exhibits. The division serves as the communication and logistics center for foreign importers, local exporters, and investors wishing to take advantage of business potentials in the province.
Trade Mission (Inbound/Outbound) - Comprehensive support for companies to expand and increase sales in world markets is another service offering by the division. Experienced and professional staff with an able Committee Chair is on-hand throughout the entire process of the trade mission. Our upcoming trade missions include visits to Vancouver, Canada; Singapore; Xiamen, China; South Korea; and, Kaoshiung, Taiwan.
Trainings & Seminars – The division offers wide-ranging training seminars and workshops to strengthen organizations and enhance individual careers in order to be abreast with evolving trends. All trainings are conducted by experts in the field at competitive costs.
Business Support – Aside from organizing and managing business events, BDMSD offers rental services for exhibit booth systems. The division also offers secretariat services for business matching activities.
Special Projects (Web Portal & ISO Initiatives) - Being an ISO9000 certified organization itself, CCCI, through the BDMSD, encourages companies to get certified on quality management. Training courses on standardization processes are regularly offered by the division for the purpose of helping companies enhance their corporate image that results in better market positioning.
SME Initiative – “Meet the Business Legends” is a pioneering activity of the division that offers SME’s and budding entrepreneurs an intimate meeting with business leaders who have made their mark in the industry. Held quarterly, the event intends to provide a higher level of knowledge in entrepreneurship for individuals embarking on the same.
