Products must be packaged well to increase shelf life of food products, improve handling and protection and ultimately improve marketability. However, the unattractive packaging, undetermined shelf life, and the lack of necessary information for consumers to evaluate the products are just some of the factors that hinder most locally processed foods from competing with existing brands in the market.
This training hopes to help food businesses understand the key food labeling requirements so that they can design their product packaging legally and correctly.
