Disaster Relief for the victims of Typhoon Sendong
Holiday Greetings from your Chamber!
On December 16-17, 2011, typhoon Sendong hit the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan leaving huge devastation to the metropolis due to flooding and landslides. Apart from human lives, household, agricultural crops and other livelihood were totally lost and devastated.
As part of the Chamber’s Give Back / CSR programs, we would like to ask your generosity to help support the families displaced by the calamity. Your chamber is asking for cash donations for easy remittance to the devastated cities.
Please advise if you have cash or check donations so the chamber could pick it up or you may drop by the office anytime at your convenience. Official receipts will be issued covering the amount.
Food, drinking water, clothing and other survival kits are also needed, should you prefer to donate in kind, you may deliver them to the chamber for consolidation so we could send them to Mindanao via our members in the shipping industry.
