Resolution Number 12-2632-2011, Resolved, to express sincere gratitude and recognition to SM City-Cebu, Father Tito Soquiño, Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry thru VP-Mr. Nestor Archival Sr., Radisson Blu Hotel, Maranatha Choir, Lupon Anduyo and Fire Dancers, Federation of Visayas Radio Club (FVRC) and supporters, Department of Energy (DOE), National Tele Communication (NTC), Cebu City Police office (CCPO), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Department of Education (DEP-ED)-City Division, Visayan Electric Company (VECO), Maritime Industry Authorities, Cebu Port Authority, Smart Communications, Inc. Cebu Private Power Corporation, Crown Regency Hotel, Waterfront Hotel-Lahug and the Association of Barangay Councils (ABC) for their active involvement and full support that contributed to the great success of the 4th year global observance of EARTH HOUR held last March 26, 2011 at 8:30-9:30 in the evening at SM City-Cebu;
Resolved further, to urge every individual to go beyond the hour and to continue this commitment of saving energy for Mother Earth and averting climate change; and
Resolved finally, to authorize the acting Secretary to the Sangguniang Panlungsud to furnish copies of this resolution to the above-mentioned concerned individuals, organizational and agencies, for their information and guidance.
