OURFood (Optimizing and Upscaling Roles in the Food Supply Chain) is a partnership project of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) with Germany’s AFOS Foundation for Entrepreneurial Development Cooperation (AFOS). The project is primarily aimed at improving the income situation of micro, small and medium enterprises along the food supply chain through the implementation of a market-oriented training and qualification program.
The 1st OURFood Conference on Food Safety is scheduled on June 16-18, 2016 at Cebu City Marriott Hotel (Conference Proper) and Robinsons Galleria (Exhibit and Market Encounter). Bearing the theme, “Promoting Food Safety from Farm to Fork”, the conference will bring together all stakeholders including government agencies and institutions, practitioners, experts, manufacturers, producers, buyers and sellers in one setting. The conference aims to provide updates on food safety standards in agriculture, food processing and food service and the importance of compliance to foodsafety standards in relation to market opportunities.
